My favorite blueberry recipe is blueberry dumplings. And another good one is blueberry~ pineapple cobbler. I’ve never been able to take the dumplings to a gathering because my hubby eats them all. He loves them with french vanilla ice cream.

I made a variation of this with a graham cracker crust (to tired to roll one out!), used vanilla greek yogurt, spread some of the blueberry preserves I made this morning on top, then topped with blueberries. I can tell from licking the bowl that it’s going to be goooooooooooood!!

Me being a diabetic I am always looking for some new recipes. I have changed my way of eating and eat nothing but fresh fruits and veggies and beans for protein. I have steered ( no pun intended haha) away from the meat, milk and cheese. I know some may be saying that is terrible but not for me. I have lost close to 25 pounds and feel great. But then what works for some may not work for others. I understand that. Just wish I didn’t have such a time with my family wanting to bring junk into the house and trying to tempt me with it. I have a 9 year old son to think about and don’t want him going through life being overweight and and sick. I love watching you Paula on the Food Network and would love to come to Georgia one day and visit your fine restaurant and meet you and your family. Keep up the good work Deen Family.

For example, Could I use SF Cool Whip or something similar in place of heavy cream? What could be used in place of ladyfingers; we seldom have them here. Thanks so much.
