I’m a bit confused. All ingredients are listed, but not all seem to be in the directions. Are the crusts baked at the same time as the filling or, are they baked first. I’m not a cook or baker so I guess I really need a bit more step by step directions. Thank you scarlett mcmahon

Put the filling in the pie crust and bake together, haha. Everything bakes at the same time.

Was way too sweet and started to toss it in the trash. Decided to try it again the next day and it was delicious. This pie gets better the longer it sits. The second and third day gives it time to settle. Definately gonna make this pie again! Thanks Paula!!!

As you say follow the directions the first time which I did. Think I’m going to try it again with white chocolate to see how it turns out. My grandson and I watch you everyday we love you. I love watching you so much because I feel like I’m back in Macon where I was born. Our dream one day is to get to come to Savannah and meet you we try making as many things we can from watching your shows.Thank you for the joy you bring to us and the wonderful recipes we enjoy making together.

He enjoyed putting the pies together and I let him sprinkle the walnuts on top instead of using pecans. =) Thank you Paula for sharing your amazing recipes with my family and me. 1/13/12.

My husband and I had some at a local fair and it was out-of-this-world good. I want to make it for him. Thank you for all the recipes. I love your story, Mrs. Paula.!!
